R&D Planning Introduction

R&D planning consists of project selection and project scheduling.  It is not enough to select a good initial portfolio of R&D projects.  The projects must be chosen while consider the future schedule of the subsequent projects.  Within an R&D network, there may be several sets of dependent projects.
